Trinity County is an area of incredible natural beauty in northwestern California. Our sites are spread throughout the 3,209 square miles, and are in many cases co-located with elementary school campuses. CAL-NET has brought an opportunity for on-line learning to this remote area of California.

Welcome to Trinity County's CAL-NET Program. We are based at the Trinity County Office of Education and help coordinate professional development for 35 Early Childhood providers at the following sites:
School Readiness Sites: Burnt Ranch Playgroup, Coffee Creek Playgroup, Hayfork Pre-K, Hayfork Playgroup, Hyampom Playgroup, Hoaglin-Zenia Playgroup
State Preschools: Alps View, Weaverville, Lewiston, Southern Trinity (a collaboration between State Preschool and Head Start)
Shasta-Trinity Head Start: Hayfork, Weaverville

Classrooms of Excellence

Hayfork Pre-K is designated as our Classroom of Excellence and has implemented the Doors to Discovery curriculum by the Wright Group. There is a monthly Libros y Más parent meeting, with each attending parent receiving a book to take home to read to their child.
