Our Mission
Our mission at the Glenn County Office of Education is to "provide quality programs and services for lifelong learning," and we believe in doing just that. From A to Z, accounting in our business office to teaching zoology to home study students, we strive to serve our community with the best programs possible.

The Preschool and Head Start Services for Glenn County office of Education are provided by the Department of Child and Family Services. Their mission is to be the parent's choice for quality early education and childcare options. Their vision is that Communities recognize children as their future and value children, families and the Early Care and Educational Professional.

  Welcome to Glenn County! We are located in the Sacramento River Valley and we grow almonds,   oranges, rice...and kids! Our Pre-school and Head Start Programs touch the lives of over 250   children and their families. Centers in Orland and Willows offer full-year preschool/childcare for   children from age three until they are eligible for kindergarten. The programs operate from 7am   to 6pm, Monday through Friday. The centers are open year-round. The Classrooms of Excellence   are two Head Start Classrooms in Orland, Chapman St-A Head Start and Chapman Street -C Head   Start.
