lFamiliar music activates Broca's area (left hemisphere)
lRhythm notes are activated in Broca's area and the cerebellum
lHarmony activates the left side of the brain more than the right in the inferior temporal cortex.
lTimbre activated the right hemisphere (the only musical element that did)
lPitch activated an area on the left back of the brain - the precuneus.
lMelody activated both sides of the brain.
